Coming off of the back of a 1-0 loss in Cincinnati, the Fire will be looking to return to winning ways in what is arguably the team’s most important match of the season thus far. The cup has obviously been made a priority for the team after seeing the strength of each Fire team that has been fielded in all of the cup matches.
Not only have the Fire fielded a full-strength side in their last two cup matches, but also rotated their starting XI heavily in the Cincinnati match in order to preserve the legs of players such as Kei Kamara, Xherdan Shaqiri, Miguel Ángel Navarro, Gastón Giménez, Rafael Czichos, and Maren Haile-Selassie for tonight’s match.
In terms of injuries for the Fire, Jonathan Dean, Chris Mueller, and Carlos Terán are all still likely out for tonight’s match.
For the visiting Dynamo, Ifunayachi Achaea, Teenage Hadebe, and Tate Schmitt are all unavailable, while Daniel Steres’ inclusion is questionable.
You can catch the Fire in this crucial win or go home match on CBS Sports Golazo Network at 7:30 CST. The network is available on CBS’ website, and can be accessed through the CBS Sports app for connected TV devices, the CBS Sports mobile app, Pluto TV and Paramount+.
