Tonight, an undefeated FC Cincinnati travels to Soldier Field to take on a winless Chicago Fire side.
Chicago will be looking for their first win of the season after tying with NYCFC in their first match, and losing on a 90th minute goal to the Philadelphia Union last Saturday.
The main concern for the Fire tonight will be player availability. Jairo Torres and Federico Navarro are still ruled out after picking up first half injuries in the season opener against NYCFC. After calling for a sub in the second half of the match against the Union, Xherdan Shaqiri is questionable, but he did not train with the team yesterday.
The Fire will also be without Kei Kamara and the Fire’s only goalscorer of this season thus far, Fabian Herbers. The pair both picked up second yellow cards against the Union and will be suspended for tonight.
The only two unavailable players for Cincinnati are Yuma Kubo, who’s out with a leg injury, and center-back Nick Hagguland, who is on a red card suspension.
Tyler Terens will return to the call on tonight’s game, as Apple TV assigned him to this match. He will be back at Soldier Field for the first time since he was signed by Apple.
The match will be streamed exclusively on Apple TV through the MLS Season Pass.
