Columbus will be looking to make it three wins on the bounce with a victory against Chicago. Whereas Columbus have been on a good run of form, their hosts have really struggled as of late and have won just one of their last five matches.
The Fire will be hoping to bounce back from what was ultimately a shattering defeat in the U.S. Open Cup Quarter-Final. Despite holding just one-third of the match’s possession, the Dynamo managed to embarrass the Fire on their home turf by a score of 4-1.
The Fire’s injury problem is improving as more and more players have come back to full fitness in recent weeks. However, starting center-back Carlos Téran remains sidelined along with Chris Mueller, who has been ruled out for the season.
For Columbus, the injury problem is great in quantity as Milos Degenek, Will Sands, Gustavo Vallecilla, and Josh Williams are all 100% unavailable for tonight’s match. Questionable inclusions for the Crew include Luis Diaz, Alex Matan, Kevin Molino, and Eloy Room.
