The Chicago Fire will be looking to pick up three straight wins for the first time this season. In his first two games in charge as Fire manager, Frank Klopas has taken the role by the reins and beat St. Louis CITY in back-to-back matches.
Sitting just one point ahead of the Fire having played an extra match, Charlotte has also started off the season relatively poor, but like the Fire, have won their last two matches. Both sides advanced to the round of 16 in the U.S. Open Cup last week and both also won their last league match.
With both teams in good form as of late, it is truly anyone’s game.
In terms of injuries for Chicago, Chris Mueller and Jonathan Dean remain ruled out while Carlos Terán is also unavailable after being subbed off due to injury in the first half of Saturday’s match.
For Charlotte, Guzman Corujo, George Marks, Kamil Jozwiak, McKinze Gaines, and Ben Bender are all ruled out. Forward Kerwin Vargas is questionable for tomorrow.
